So the dream I had last night was a bit striking, and although the last few nights have provided a slew of vivid, strange and somewhat emotional dreams, the bulk of them were either forgotten or involved people from real life in strange situations. The one however last night was vivid enough that, having waken up once again at a cliffhanger part, I was able to recall all of the events in the dream very well and can still replicate some of the things I saw, however strange.
It was a video-game like, mountainous dream world. Very alp-like, i Suppose. The entire world was mountains, and maybe the few roads and rivers that wound through the mountains or inbetween them. Imagine these mountains, roads, and rivers looking like somebody programmed them with an N64. Get the picture? A'ight.
Now it turns out that, in this little dream world, this little vector image girl gets to go on a bus for the summer with other little vector art children (art of which I might upload later, if I can still remember at that point exactly what she looked like) to a summer camp. She bids farewell to her parents, boards the N64 bus, and they all take off for camp I-Have-No-Clue-What-The-Name-Of-This-Camp-Is-Ana-Wanna and sings little cheery songs and whatnot. They get to camp, and then the dream skips forward eerily.
The little girl is running through the forest, it's pitch black, and as she darts blindly through she doesn't see the cliff up ahead, falling head over heels down two hundred feet or so into the little shallow N64 river at the bottom. Fate has it that she later washes up near a small water fall. The girl wakes up and decides that the only thing to do is climb the water fall at the side to get up higher and near her house. She does so, the task being incredibly difficult for a girl her age to complete, and reaches the top of the waterfall. To a lack-of-surprise characteristic in dreams, the house is awaiting just beyond the crest of the waterfall.
What ensues, however, is an episodic summer of the little girl journeying out into the wilderness just before dusk, reaching the edges of the camp she had previously attended, and sitting at the fence, trying to help the other children inside escape. It turns out that the summer camps which all the children were required to attend were actually concentration camps designed to utilize the youth for factory production and labor until they were too sick or starved to do any work and then they offed the children in much the same ways as the nazis exterminated the victims in their own camps.
It was a particularly strange stress on her relationship with her parents, it seemed, however, since she would sleep all day and wake late into the evening, eating and then setting out into the dark. Although various things occured, I cannot recount specifically the events of any single one, except for the last (as usual), which involved the girl bringing a bag of bombs intended for blowing the gate open, since up to that point only one or two children were escaped, and even then, she never met them or lead them out of the woods, which could've been death in it's own. ANYWAY, the bombs ended up causing more of a ruckus than the girl imagined, forcing her to leave quickly and run back home still in the dark. When she woke up the next morning, there were bright red vector guards dogs outside in the valley just beyond the waterfall.
Meh, maybe there'll be pictures later.
